How to top up your VuwaniTalk balance

Every way you can add credit to your VuwaniTalk account — in the app, on the website, and for a guest or family member.

Add credit in a few taps

VuwaniTalk is pay-as-you-go, so you only ever top up when you need to. Credit is applied to your account immediately after a successful payment.

Top up in the app

Open the app, go to the top-up or buy credit screen, choose an amount, and pay. You can pay with PayPal or with a debit or credit card through Paystack. On iOS you can also use Apple In-App Purchase.

Top up on the website

You can also add credit on our Top Up page using a card via Paystack or with PayPal. Enter the amount you want to add and complete the payment — the balance updates on your account right away.

Top up for someone else

You do not need to be a VuwaniTalk user to add credit for a friend or family member. The website allows a guest to top up any account by phone number, which is handy if you want to send a relative abroad some calling credit.

How billing works

Your balance is held in USD and converted for display in your local currency where supported. Each minute of a call is deducted from your balance based on the rate for that destination. You can see exactly how much each call cost in your call history.
