Your Number (DID) Updated Sep 2026

How to request your own VuwaniTalk number

How to get a dedicated number (DID) so friends and family can call you, and how approval works.

A number that people can call you on

While you usually call out with VuwaniTalk, you can also request a dedicated number (a DID) from supported SADC countries, such as South Africa (+27) or Zimbabwe (+263). Once assigned, people can ring that number and your VuwaniTalk app will receive the call.

How to request a number

How approval works

Number requests are reviewed by our team. Approval depends on number availability and, where required, completing your identity verification. You will be notified once your number is ready, and it will appear in the app under your account.

After you have a number

Your assigned number is shown in the app and can be copied to share. Receiving a call works like any other call — you just answer in the app. To keep your number, keep your account in good standing.
